There are no words to describe the greatest of events that take place during the Great and Holy Week. We marvel at our Lord’s sacrifice for our salvation. It is a sacrifice that we are called to join and to be crucified with the Lord for the purpose of our resurrection from our passions and trivial things. May the light of the Resurrection flood and soften our souls so that this year, too, we may become partakers of the unspeakable joy that will resound through crying out, ‘Lord has Risen’.
